Frosted Glass Image Effect Generator

ZYRONMATRIX creates an artistic frosted-glass treatment for images and video frames using directional stripe refraction, blur, glow, masks, color gradients, and film noise. It is an image-effect generator—not a CSS backdrop-filter generator.

How to create a frosted-glass image

1

Load media

Select an image or browser-supported video. Processing remains local.

2

Choose Frosted Glass

Switch to Glass mode and fit or offset the subject inside the canvas.

3

Shape the glass

Tune blur, stripe width, refraction displacement, shading, mask, and noise.

4

Color and export

Choose a spatial gradient or LUT palette, then export PNG or JPG.

What each glass control changes

ControlEffectPractical use
Glow BlurSpreads luminous detail around the extracted subject.Soft atmospheric light and diffused edges.
Stripe WidthSets the scale of directional glass bands.Narrow ribbed glass or broader architectural panels.
Refraction Disp.Offsets image samples across the stripe pattern.Subtle distortion or strong prismatic displacement.
Glass ShadingControls directional light and shadow on the bands.More depth and a stronger three-dimensional reading.
Film NoiseAdds fine texture after the glass treatment.Reduces sterile gradients and adds an analog finish.

Spatial gradients and LUT color

Spatial mode blends two chosen colors across the canvas with adjustable angle and offset. LUT mode maps source brightness through a five-color palette. Spatial color works well for two-light compositions; LUT mapping is useful when the subject should retain brightness-driven tonal structure.

Raster and SVG output

The glass effect depends on pixel sampling and raster filters. PNG and JPG therefore provide the native output. Glass-mode SVG export wraps a rendered PNG inside an SVG container; it does not convert the refraction into editable vector paths. For true vector elements, use Dot, ASCII, or Dither mode.

Frosted glass FAQ

Is this a CSS glassmorphism generator?

No. It applies a visual frosted-glass effect to image or video pixels. It does not generate CSS for translucent interface panels.

Can it process transparent PNG files?

Yes. Use alpha-based extraction when the subject already has transparency, or automatic/luma extraction when working from a flat background.

Can I render the effect on video?

Yes. Preview a supported video in Glass mode and export a PNG frame sequence from a verified account.
